AnleChen small biography
Anle Chen was born in Yueqing close to Hangzhou; after a brief career in the adminstration,she started a late but successful career as a model,including a few covers of prestigious magazines.After a few years of this exciting but rather repetitive life as the model,she decided in 2013 to devote herself to her life long passion:painting.
Anle Chen is a self-taught artist.Her works belong to the expressionist movement; her masters are artists like Shiele,Lucian Freud,or Toulouse Lautrec.She uses oil painting with some excellent drawing skills and a very Chinese touch in the brush’s uses. Her first international exhibition was a success.With Gallery Jacques Barrere at TEFAF Maastricht,she sold most of her paintings.(pictures joined)
Her painting reflect her perception of the world, a human eye on a magnificent but often tragic world.
